An avid researcher, Beryl was responsible for many of the records contained in this county section. Called "Steele" by her friends in Mansfield, Texas, the first time I met her in 1983, she jumped in the car and took me on a tour of all the family sites in town, and was as excited to show them to me as I was to see them.
