Only one of the markers has been recovered, that of Sarah J.(Gibson) Perry (Born Jan.16, 1828 - Died Oct.2, 1855), the first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte Perry. Perry, a veteran of the Confederate Army, was an early settler in the Mansfield area. He is buried in the Estes Cemetery. The wrought iron fence has been replaced. He was also a cousin of Col. Middleton Tate Johnson.
